Meet Misty
Misty moved to Whatcom County 23 years ago after seeing the consequences of poor public policy in California. Increasing taxes weren’t increasing living wages, and the quality of life for many was deteriorating.
Like many people, Misty wanted her children to grow up in a safe community where they would have the opportunity to thrive. Washington was that place for years, but poor policies have forced many families to leave. Misty Flowers is committed to protecting what matters most to you so you and your family can thrive in Washington State. She will work for you to help keep your assets in Whatcom County and your family able to grow for generations to come.
Many hardworking families and businesses have been forced to leave Washington State due to strict building rules and rising taxes. As your next State Legislator, Misty will protect your home and business. Her experience as a business owner and first-generation homeowner will guide her decisions around taxation. She knows that working industries can partner with government to protect the environment without having to sacrifice one for the other. Misty is ready to represent you so that Washington State is a place you love to live!
