Meet Misty
Misty has lived in Whatcom County for 22 years, raising her children in this diverse, family-friendly community. As a traveling musician, she has seen the wonderful people across Whatcom County negatively impacted by government regulations and public policy. Misty Flowers is committed to protecting what matters most to you so you can thrive in the 42nd District. She will work for you to help keep your assets in Whatcom County and your family able to thrive for generations to come.
Many hardworking families and businesses have been forced to leave Washington State due to strict building rules and rising taxes. As your next State Legislator, Misty will protect your home and business. Her experience as a business owner and first-generation homeowner will guide her decisions around taxation. Her passion for food security, clean water and hiking will drive her environmental policy decisions. She knows that working industries can partner with government to protect the environment without having to sacrifice one for the other . Misty is eager to represent you so that Washington State is a place you love to live!
